Tandem Skydiving is the easiest and safest way to make your first
skydive. Attached securely to your tandem instructor via a dual
harness system, you get to experience the ride of your life while
pulling the student ripcord and flying the parachute made for two.
(Don't worry, your instructor will pull for you and fly the parachute if you choose not to).
Your instruction before the jump will include specific training
on exiting the aircraft, arching your body in freefall and how to
pull the ripcord at the right altitude. You will also be familiarized
with the workings of your tandem parachute.
What to wear for your Tandem Skydive
Wear comfortable, weather appropriate clothes and shoes. The dropzone
will supply you with a jumpsuit, goggles, altimeter and harness
to secure you to your jump master.
Dropzone facilities include a snack bar, weekend BBQ, picnic tables,
lush green lawn and shade trees. Bring your friends and family to
cheer you on! Sorry, but parachutes and dogs don't get along. Please
leave Rover at home.
Tandem Skydiving Limitations
LIMITATIONS: You must
be 18 years old (valid ID required) and a maximum weight of 230 lbs. for tandem and
225 lbs. for AFF. We operate under the safety/wind guidelines set
forth by the USPA (United States Parachute Association) and VFR (Visual Flight Rules)
under the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) and NO exceptions
can be made.
Everyone who comes out and makes a Tandem Skydive must fill out a waiver of liability. There is a California State Statute (law) which states the following: 'No parent or guardian of a minor under the age of 18 years of age, has the right to sign away the 'rights' of a minor.
TIPPING? We're often asked if tipping one's instructor is appropriate.Yes, tipping is greatly appreciated, if you enjoy your skydive, you may tip your instructor! A tip is a great way of communicating your satisfaction with your jump.

At Skydive Elsinore, we only use Professional camera personnel who video your whole experience from an outside point of view. Equipment used is state of the art providing you with both Digital Video and Digital Still Photographs!
DON’T BE FOOLED! Many skydiving centers do not use an outside point of view! They utilize a "HandyCam" camera with a Fisheye lens which is strapped to the tandem instructors wrist. Not surprisingly, the results are not that good!
DON’T BE FOOLED! Many skydiving centers will offer you an “UPGRADE” or “PRO” package to use a Professional Camera person, and charge you a very real “UPGRADE” price (as much as an additional $50-60.00).
