| Team Aquila was formed in Spring
of 2006 with a goal of having fun and becoming better RW flyers.
The name “Aquila” means “eagle” and
comes from a constellation made up of 5 stars, which resemble
a 4 way team with a cameraflyer. In May, Aquila made their
debut by winning the gold medal in A class at the regional
Southwest Skydiving League meet. Later, Aquila won silver
medals in AA class at both the July and August SSLs. Aquila
is looking forward to beating their own personal records this
year at Nationals, and having a blast doing it!
