Poker Run 2004

The 6th Annual Poker Run went OFF! Ten teams came out guns blazing ready to take home the coveted medals and cash. Jaqs and Kings were a force to be reckoned with from the very beginning, with Hot Crossed Buns nipping at their heels all the way through the final round. Ultimately, Jaqs and Kings secured the gold, with HCB taking silver. Tammi's Old Studs were not far behind and ended up nabbing the bronze. Honorable mention goes out to team Flush Under the Table, who had the high score in round one, before having to shuffle team rosters early in the day.

Another shout out to miracle man, Eric Luff, who will no doubt be back with his team next year ready for medals! After the meet, the famed Poker Game was another one for the record books. Tamela came out as sexy as ever in her pink ruffles and polka dots, tequila bottles in each hand-the crowd going nuts. Penalty shots were dished out to many-two in particular to Anne, the first-jump student star in National Geographic's upcoming segment on skydiving-one shot for real, followed by another for the cameras. Of course being skydivers, we all were more than willing to cheer and scream for the cameras on take two. Following the penalty shots, the poker game was underway-cards dealt, tequila downed, pot shots taken, tempers flaring... Bobby May tossed down the winning card and the crowd erupted-Jaqs and Kings had achieved the illusive double-taking the gold medal and the cash, saying Todd Hawkins, this one's for you, man!!
