| Bridge
the Gap 2003
Skydive
Elsinore held its 3rd annual Bridge the Gap on June
7-8. Nearly 50 participants attended the weekend’s
activities. The goal of the event is to help “bridge

novice and more experienced skydivers. Often, these
newer skydivers get lost in the crowd and don’t
get the advice and direction that they want and need.
A few years ago, Skydive Elsinore recognized this gap
and initiated an effort to target these skydivers and
encourage and provide assistance to help them grow in
the sport.

Run 2003
The
5th Annual Poker Run proved to be bigger than ever with
11 teams competing in 5 fierce rounds of 6 way. The
event has grown every year, not just in size, but in
the creative twists that surround the end of the meet

that vary in difficulty, with a handicap system to give
newer competitors a shot at the title. At the end of
each round, the team randomly draws a card, so at the
end of the day you have a 5 card poker hand.
