Tripp (my son) and I were in Bryan and Jaqi's group. Heidi, (my daughter) was with Tammy's group. I've got to tell you that Tammy took great care of Heidi and taught her a lot. She was so excited and completely exhausted, as we all were by Sunday!

As parents, Gretchen and I love to see that bright happy look in their eyes (especially falling through the air at 120 mph!) It's like when they were kids at Christmas.

We were all working on RW and learning a lot. However, I think Heidi might be leaning toward the dark side (freeflying!)

I feel like I got more then most because I was attended Bridge The Gap last year. There is so much information put out for new jumpers. It's hard to remember it all. I believe that Bridge The Gap should be at minimum a two year program.

The staff at skydive Elsinore had all the bases covered and are so knowledgeable about all aspects of the sport that I, for one, felt that no question had gone unanswered. Every exit, skydive and landing was thoroughly debriefed.
For me, there were two highlight of the weekend. The first one was John
Hamilton's speech about Bridge The Gap achievement. As I was listening I could
pick out four or five people he could be talking referring to, but certainly not me.
It's not often that I'm caught off guard with nothing to say but they did it. I feel very proud to be considered part of Skydive Elsinore and be given the Brige The Gap achievement award!

The next highlight was Saturday night after the seminar. Gretchen, Tripp, Heidi and I sat around till 1:00AM talking about everything. Sometimes we don't take enough time to be with and share our thoughts with our family. This sport is truly turning out to be great for us.

OH! On top of all that the skydiving WAS GREAT!!!!
