August 22nd — FreeFly Sequential Fridays!

If you think you're ready to take the next step in your freefly progression, c'mon out and put your skills to the test. Sequential Fridays are organized by Andy Malchiodi. It is free, (minus jump tickets of course!), it is casual, and it is fun! You MUST be capable of flying STRAIGHT DOWN in a head down body position to participate. Work on your levels, floating, diving, docking, turning points, etc. And remember, participating in a sequential friday is mandatory for those hoping to participate in the "freefly powwow" invitational weekends! August 24th - Freefly Excel!

Freefly excel is designed for the beginner to intermediate freeflyer looking for information and advice to further their progression. It focuses on skill development through solos and jumping with small groups. A typical day includes a morning of ground school, followed by 5 jumps. Your coach will take turns jumping with each person or group, and each jump will be followed by a debrief. Your coach will do his or her best to jump with everyone, but it should be noted that "freefly excel" is not a substitute for more formal skills camps or one on one coaching. Instead, it is a golden opportunity to ask questions and get feedback on your flying in a no stress setting. September 30th- October 1st— Advanced Big Way Camp with Tony Domenico and Doug Forth!

Registration is NOW OPEN for the *Advanced Big Way Camp - Elsinore* -
*September 30 – **October 1, 2008*. This is a 2-DAY Jump for the Cause
Advanced Big Way Training Camp led by Tony Domenico and Doug Forth.
Note, this event is open to both men and women.

*The Plan: *Limited to 40 people, this is a 2 day version of the
Advanced Big Way Camp. It is aimed at women and men who want to improve
(or refresh) their big way flying techniques. We will do basic training
dives not done in the regular Big Way Camps. These include tracking
dives, sheep-dogging dives, and dives designed to practice seeing and
approaching the formation on radials.*

We talk about these particular big way techniques in the Big Way Camps,
but this is the only place to really practice them! THINK OUTSIDE OF THE
BOX! This camp is not a conventional camp and has been exceptionally fun
every time we’ve hosted it.

**Location:** Skydive Elsinore. Please refer to Accommodations section of this website for information about local camping and nearby hotels.

*Start/Release Time:* Start time is 8:00am, Tuesday, September 30.
Please be registered, waivered, gear checked and ready to jump at this
time (the DZ will open at 7:30am). Release time is 5:00pm, Wednesday,
October 1st. Please make your travel arrangements accordingly.

**Minimum experience required:** 250 jumps, 50 jumps in the last 6
months, have been on at least a 20-way and have the ability to close
12th or later on a consistent basis. We prefer that you have attended a
Big Way Camp, but it is not mandatory. If you do NOT meet these minimum
requirements, you may be asked to sit down from the dives.

**Cost:** *$395 USD *for 12 jumps from 12,500 ft AGL with debrief video
and coaching. Cash, traveler’s checks, personal checks (payable to TONY
DOMENICO, drawn on a US bank only), and credit cards are accepted. NOTE:
The above cost represents the CASH PRICE (also applies for personal
checks). A 5% transaction fee may be added to credit card payments.

*Deposit:* *$150 USD deposit* is required to secure your slot. The
deposit may be paid via personal check or credit card. Payment
instructions are printed on the Registration Form.

November 14-16 — Wine Country Invitational

This November 14-16, accomplished 4-way competitors and other talented skydivers will converge on Skydive Elsinore for a weekend of high-quality, complex skydives. Friday, November 14th, will be a warm-up day, with easy-going, fun organizing for anyone wanting to come out early. This event is invitation only, and this year the focus of the dives will be intricate 16-ways, increasing in complexity over the weekend. The final skydive on Sunday is always a formation load into a local winery where the view alone is worth the weekend. Afterwards, festivities include a deliciously catered meal with wine and beer, tunes playing, event pictures and video up on the big screen, and an outstanding party with 40+ of your new and old skydiver friends.

Guests are welcome and encouraged to join the dinner and party— the more the merrier! Dinner ticket cost to be determined, but often an excellent price to enjoy an evening in the wine country. Tickets will be sold through the Elsinore office at (951) 245-9939 closer to the event.
